Our family of five unexpectedly found ourselves in Kavala during a multi-country trip, and we couldn't have been luckier to discover this gem of a hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by its stylish, modern design and the exceptionally friendly and professional staff. Our accommodation was actually a spacious two-bedroom apartment, featuring a comfortable living room with a fully equipped kitchen. A real highlight was the long balcony that connected all three rooms, offering a great space to relax. The bathroom was large and well-appointed, and the entire apartment was perfectly clean, beautifully arranged, and incredibly spacious. The kids especially loved the pool, which was a fantastic bonus after a day of travel. This hotel truly turned an unexpected stop into a memorable and comfortable experience.

The service is outstanding: we got there at midnight and they managed to have dinner served for us at the rooftop restaurant with a lovely view to the fortress’ wall (btw, food was delicious!). The hotel is located a few steps away from the marina, where you find a variety of restaurants to have breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Five min walk to the pedestrian area with shops and many more restaurants and 7 min away from Kavala’s old town. Due to time constraints we missed the spa, but we are looking forward to a massage in our next stay.

Guests at Vathi Cove Luxury Resort & Spa can enjoy a buffet breakfast. I have to start with the beach, because it is beautiful! It is a private beach with superb sunbeds where you can relax or swim in the crystal clear water. You can enter the water even without water shoes. The hotel is modern, well equipped and wonderfully styled. The staff is young and attentive (however, a few of them could be more polite). Our room was great: clean and with enough storage place, and it was facing the sea which we loved. It is a perfect hideaway where you can easily switch off and have a relaxed time. The breakfast menu was gorgeous. There is also a gym which is small but functional.
