We were lucky to receive a complimentary upgrade to a suite with a private pool and were warmly welcomed with a bottle of wine and a fresh fruit platter. At the end of our stay, we were even gifted a bottle of Contessina’s own olive oil – such a thoughtful gesture that made our departure bittersweet. Breakfast was a daily delight – fresh, varied, and always served with a smile. Every morning felt like a warm embrace. The on-site gym is small but modern, and for those wanting more space or equipment, the large and well-equipped gym at the sister hotel is just perfect. Highly recommended! This hotel combines luxury, soul, and genuine hospitality. We’ll be dreaming of Contessina for a long time to come.

The reception team are lovely and very very welcoming and helpful. Fofi is the best and she takes good care of everyone! Eldina and everyone else was also amazing. Definitely coming back here next year for our anniversary! Highly recommended.

The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The location is perfect – close to everything, but still peaceful and quiet. Breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options. I truly felt welcomed and well taken care of. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely come back!

This is a perfect place to relax and unwind, to enjoy the sun and the sea. The sunbeds are great, the pool is nice and the beach is clean with nice soft sand. There are always enough sunbeds to choose from, and sunbathing under the shades of the trees is one of the best and most relaxing experiences.

This hotel is an ideal place for families looking for a relaxing stay as well as groups of young people that want to enjoy Tsilivi’s night life. From check in to check out, the Hotel Contessina was amazing. Polite and accommodating staff were everywhere, including the cleaning folks, bartenders, pool staff, check in desk, and servers. Everyone went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. The rooms were spacious and the AC went to a cool level, which we loved after those hot days. The showers were large with rain shower and a powerful handheld jet, if you liked that option. Each evening, turn down service was exceptional and the fruit or sweet plate hit the spot. The most surprising and touching part of it all was the parting gift we were given during our check out. It was a bottle of olive oil and two jars of marmalade from the Contessina farm. A handwritten note thanking us for our stay with them seemed out of place in that it felt we should be giving them a gift for all the warm hospitality. The only knock is really the town itself, which is a matter of my personal opinion. The good is that the ATV rental place is right across the street so, if you're into that, it was very convenient. The town itself felt a bit like Cabo on spring break. Many bars and cheesy places to go to. The restaurants weren't that unique and many had the same menu items. We didn't venture much out of the hotel and it's, by far, the best property anywhere close to where it's located. Decent walk to a very crowded beach. Overall, an amazing place to stay in Zakynthos!
