Amazing place; direct contact with nature; very well managed; the resort is focused on diving, but I did snorkeling while my husband did scuba diving; we found the professionals to be extremely polite and focused on their specific areas; the rooms are a good size and well decorated; you have an incredible view of the sunset no matter where you are in the resort; at the time we went (August) and while we were there, we had a diver to accompany me in snorkeling and a diver to accompany my husband in scuba diving; the food is great and very tasty.

From the very beginning, the warm welcome from Mario and Clara made me feel right at home—they were amazing and set the tone for the entire visit. To my surprise, they even upgraded me to one of the best rooms in the hotel, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The room itself was spacious, beautifully kept, and incredibly comfortable. The bed and pillows were some of the comfiest I’ve ever slept on, and I really appreciated the complimentary touches like free coffee, water, and even creamer—it’s the little details that make a big difference. The pool area was so relaxing, a perfect spot to unwind, and the free breakfast was outstanding. There was so much variety: fresh omelets, donuts, croissants, juices, warm Indonesian dishes, and more. Everything was delicious, fresh, and plentiful. Overall, everything about my stay was perfect—from the amazing hospitality to the comfort and amenities. I highly recommend the Vega Prime Hotel and can’t wait to come back!

We enjoyed the family feel of our hosts all pitching in to look after the guests. Friwen wall and the home reef were handy and great snorkelling spots. Very good price. Food was good. We enjoyed the short walk to through the trees to the village. Loved the tiled bathroom. Could easily have done a couple more snorkelling trips from here but we only stayed one night to be closer to Waisai.
