The hot tub and sauna + the great breakfast

There is a fully functional kitchen (oven, crockery, cookers) and a large and bright dining room (where breakfast is also served). Guests can access a hot tub and sauna with beautiful view. The room was small but very well designed and organised with private sink. No problem with using the shared bathrooms, clean and never had to queue.

The owner was very kind and helpful. The room was cozy and clean. Our room had a sea view. The breakfast was excellent. I appreciate the observation tower. We even saw the aurora borealis. I liked the relaxation zone the most. There was a sauna, massage chair, hot tub, darts, ping-pong. We will be happy to come back here. We loved this place.

Loved the location, the room, the breakfast and the staff behaviour. The northern lights viewing point, the hot tub, the sauna, the snooker table and the dart board were amazing value add-ons. They had coffee/tea/hot cocoa through the day at their restaurant, and a kitchenette to microwave meals. Highly recommended stay option near Akureyri. Special shoutout to Karl for his warm welcome and hospitality throughout our three night stay.

Our favourite stay in Iceland, GORGEOUS place to stay, hot tub was lovely. The hosts were really helpful and nice. Wish we could've stayed here longer. If we had an extra day I would've said we should stay 2 nights instead and have a day in the area to relax to break up the road trip.

nice and comfortable beds. clean room and sheets. very warm and enough space to put our stuff. free hot tub and sauna outside and towels are provided. breakfast was okayish - can be better. no info for the dinner so we skipped that. location is nice, there is an easy trekking route just across the road and a pizza place just 10 mins walk.

Lovely place with lovely staff. The area and facilities were great. We specifically chose the hotel because of the spa, sauna and relaxation area. Breakfast was good, everything you would expect. We were in a separate building away from the main house. The room was small, no problem, but instead of a double bed we had two single mattresses together. They were quite hard. Otherwise everything was perfect. Would come again and ask for a room in the main buidling.
