The room was clean spacious (larger than what I expected from the photo), with a large comfortable bed and an elegant bathroom with shower and bidet. It was very hot during my stay but the AC was powerful and kept the room cool for a pleasant evening’s sleep. Although the location is very central and the street quite busy during the day, it was much quieter in the evening and the windows were soundproof, so all good. The breakfast is served on the ground floor, next to the lobby, it’s a nice bright space with modern design furniture and preserved elements from the old building, such as the stone arches, which I appreciated, being an architect myself. Food selection was good, especially for the sweet things, but they can also make eggs to your preference et cetera. The ladies who worked in the breakfast room were very nice and attentive. Both receptionists were courteous and helpful too, providing restaurant suggestions and printing out some documents for me. Upon departure, they gifted me some pasta made by the family company that also owns the hotel (Borin), which was a lovely gesture.
