The extensive buffet breakfast includes salami, homemade cakes, fresh fruit and juice made from Sicilian oranges. The restaurant with terrace specialises in local dishes, such as pasta with fresh anchovies, pine nuts and raisins. The hotel owner is the best , most amazing hostess. She is meticulous in every detail at the hotel. From the staff to the food, all excellent. Such an amazing breakfast buffet. Location is away from the town of Siracusa , but only a quick 15 minute shuttle ride. Thank you for a lovely and pleasant 3 day stay.

Set in a former nobleman’s residence 1 km from Arenella Beach and 7 km from the centre of Siracusa, Dimora Caiammari Luxury Hotel & Spa is an elegant 5-star hotel on the Plemmirio Peninsula. This property offers free bikes and botanical gardens with 2 outdoor pools. The Staff and owner were the most gracious and attentive to our needs as soon as we arrived. I true gem of a property . The only regret was that we could not stay longer. Upon our departure the Owner proudly presented us with his delicious olive oil. This lovely gem is the perfect destination for relaxation and serenity.

The hotel restaurant serves the finest Italian dishes. The breakfast room offers panoramic views over Siracusa's coast line, while the Roof Garden has a wonderful terrace for outdoor dining.

The Hotel reveals the perfect balance between tradition and modernity. Each space is different, but everywhere there is a sense of peace and luxury. Only one word “ EXCELLENT” I stay so many hotels in so many countries. I can say this is the best hotel I stayed. It’s expensive but worth every penny.

Set on cliffs overlooking Siracusa and Ortygia Island, Minareto is a 5-star luxury hotel in the protected Plemmirio area. This property offers a quiet location, outdoor pool, 2 private beaches and unbeatable views. The property is immaculate with beautiful cactus and olive tree gardens. The view is fabulous. From one side there is rocky beach with a view of Ortigia and on the other side there is a lovely sandy beach overlooking a cove. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious and varied. The staff was helpful and accommodating. It is about a 20 minute easy drive to Ortigia which we did a couple of times. Local attractions were easy to get to.
