The room was much better than the ones we had so far in Japan, maybe because it had two single beds, with plenty of room in between. The staff was very helpful, and the bonus hot spring very enjoyable.

It got very busy at one point, but we never had an issue getting our food. The shuttle to and from Toba Station was very convenient. We contacted the staff from a payphone at Toba Station. We were able to communicate our needs through our very limited knowledge of the Japanese language. The driver took our luggage and said they would store it till we checked in. This allowed us to continue on with our sightseeing plans without physically going to the hotel first. That really helped maximize our time in Toba! Wonderful Service!

The postal service is a really nice touch which allowed us to send post cards that we purchased in our travels. There were even little snacks and green tea representing the local area Ise's foods completely free! There was even a torch for night walking.
