The room's interior perfectly suited our needs, and the private swimming pool was a real highlight for me. The peaceful atmosphere in the area added to the overall experience. However, what truly made our stay memorable was the outstanding staff. Abhishek welcomed us with exceptional hospitality, and Ravindra in the restaurant went above and beyond to ensure our every need was met. We highly recommend Ahu Bay for a fantastic beach vacation.

Vegetarian, dairy-free and halal options can also be requested. We did a last minute booking ! The owner was super friendly ! He also helped us with the adapter ! The breakfast was super big and good ! They are currently finishing the work for the swimming pool I think that in a few days the place will be even better

Situated in Bentota, 2 km from Bentota Beach, Amber House Lanka features views of the sea. Featuring a restaurant, the property also has a shared lounge, as well as an indoor pool and a hot tub. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, a shared kitchen and free WiFi throughout the property. I'm really demanding person but I was fascinated about this place! Let's Start with location. It's situated about 10 minuts by foot from Aluthgama railway station. It's very convenient when you trevel by train like we. You shouldn't worry about noise because this hotel is on a quiet street near the river. For people who is really in nightlife there are no bars, cafes and parties around this place. Instead of this you can enjoy amazing sunsets and try water activities on the river or fly on a glider over the beach. The hotel is separated from the beach by a river so they give you a free ride to the beach by boat. The beach is sandy, wide and almost deserted. There are no cafes but I saw several sunbeds so probably it could be rented. The coast is quite flat and the ocean depth is shallow, so the place is suitable for children Guest house is pretty small (about 5-6 rooms) and doesn't have a garden where people can walk but we didn't suffer about it. Amazing and welcoming family run it. They helped us with all questions but were not intrusive. We took a river safari excursion from them and did not regret it. We saw monitor lizards, endemic monkeys, small crocodiles, bats and birds. All the time we ate only in this hotel. They provide very tasty and filling breakfasts. We were served scrambled eggs in different forms (scramble, omelet, etc.), yogurt, fruit, toast, butter and jam, juice, tea or coffee. Besides they have a wide selection of dishes in menu including grilld meet( chiken, beef, porc), sea food, noodles, rice etc. All was available and has affordable price. We stayed in family room on the first floor. It is spacious, bright, extremely clean and fully matches with photo and description. Definitely recommend this hotel and say a huge thank you to this family!

We booked Sahana Sri Villa last minute and had a wonderful experience! The owner and her mother were incredibly kind, and the breakfast was delicious. The location is ideal—just minutes from the beach, seafood restaurants, and local spots. Highly recommend for a cosy, convenient stay!

Situated within 500 metres of Bentota Beach and 400 metres of Bentota Lake in Bentota, Channa Villa & Tours features accommodation with seating area. After 13 (budget) accommodations in Sri Lanka, this was definitely the best value for our money. Large and very clean room, very kind hosts, nicely located between the beach and the main road and a well-working shower with hot water.

We are both vegetarian and the food that was provided was the best we had eaten in Sri Lanka. The nearby beach, accessible by free tuk-tuk ride, is simply the most magnificent, untrammelled beach I have ever seen. Spotless, golden sands, warm blue water and stunning scenery. The rooms are enormous with comfortable beds, clean (outdoor!) bathroom and a lovely porch. The entire resort was spotless. We spent 11 days in Sri Lanka in total, across a range of different style accommodations, 5* to 2* hotels and this was easily the best place we stayed.

Surrounded by tropical gardens, it offers 2 outdoor pools and free WiFi in the rooms. Wonderful rooms and very professional staff. Nice touches such as milk and not creamer. First place we stayed with a bathtub too. Lots of hidden areas to explore.

The staff were really helpful, they organised a massage and birthday flowers and cake for us when I mentioned. They couldn't be more attentive. Would definitely recommend.
