Vegetarian, halal and vegan options can also be requested. It was perfect. Beautiful room and pool, all the public areas are pleasant and pretty. The staff was extremely kind and thoughtful. The food was amazing, we went to the buffet diner and it was exceptional. I slept so well there. The hotel is located near a natural reserve of birds, so you can a variety of birds in the hotel pool area.

We were really happy we chose this place for our 3-night stay at Tissa. I will not write much about the place, the room and the facilities provided and the quality of services provided by the host; they are all better described by other guests and they are all true. I will - above all - point out the amazing care dedicated by the host and his wife in order to serve us the best quality of ingredients and prepared the finest dishes of Sri Lankan cuisine! That was the only place of all Sri Lanka over a 3+ week period where we had the chance (and the luck) to taste authentic local food - and it was amazing! Don't miss this opportunity and book your dinner (half-board) with them... you won't regret it!

Free WiFi access is available in this self-catering accommodation. If you are looking for accommodation and safari this is just right spot for you. Sanjeewa is one of the kindest person we have met in whole Sri Lanka. He welcomed us with homemade mango fresh juice from his garden. Told us about fruits and stuff around the place. He arranged everything for us ! We had tasty homemade lunch after safari and room upgrade for free. He also took us to bus station and put us on the right bus to Mirrisa. Thank you for memorable time!!! We will come again!

Set in Tissamaharama, 3.4 km from Tissa Wewa, Coconut Island Yala offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. With free WiFi, this 1-star hotel offers room service and luggage storage space. The accommodation provides airport transfers, while a car rental service is also available. It really felt like staying in the jungle, with monkeys and lots of birds around, surrounded by coconut palm trees. Waking up to the sound of birds and the chant of the nearby buddhist temple was a lovely experience. Our host (the owner) was very nice and welcoming, attending to our every need and preparing delicious breakfast and dinner. He built the place himself with taste, surrounding it with flowers and plants, and growing his own vegetables and rice (which tastes very nice). The place was clean, with very comfortable beds with great mosquito net, and with very good AC. The shower was nice. The wifi was good too. A nice lake (Yoda) is about 25 mins walking distance, and it's full of different birds. I definitely recommend this place!

Located in the deep south of Sri Lanka, Chena Huts is just 5-minute away from Yala National Park. It is designed to echo the local architecture harmonizing with the jungle environment. We loved everything about the Uga Chena Huts. The location is amazing with an elephant, monkeys and a range of other animals being seen around the property. The food was the best we have had - wonderful chef who changes the menu daily. The staff were exceptional, from our safari guide to the wait staff and room staff. They made our stay!

Guest rooms at the hotel are fitted with a seating area. The private bathroom is equipped with a bidet, free luxury toiletries and a hair dryer. The units have a desk. All rooms have direct views of the lake. The team at flameback were pretty amazing especially Sampath and Varun, they took of every need we had. The property is very well maintained with all the facilities. Only improvement suggested is better lighting in the room as it was pretty low lit.
