Royal Island Resort & Spa is located in Maldives’ Baa Atoll. This tropical Island overlooks the Indian Ocean and offers free Wi-Fi, a Spa and a peaceful white sandy beaches.

The Royal Island Resort & Spa is a 30-minute wheeled aircraft ride from Malé International Airport. A mandatory transfer is provided by the resort, and charges are to be paid upon arrival. Everithing was just perfect. Good value for the money. All extra actvities price list can be found online, which makes planning in advance better, only thing I didn’t know about is that there is additional tax that is not included in spa treatments prices. Island’s coral reef is so beutiful, we have seen rays, once even turtle and so many different kinds of fish and corals and reef sharks, of course, just by snorkeling around. Excursion to the sand bank and near by island for snorkling on coral reef and swim with trutles was incredible. We also took several boat trips with diving centar, diving was out of this world, best I had so far. I have to recomend ajurvedic treatments in spa center too, so relaxing.

Located in Finolhus in the Baa Atoll Region, 15 km from Baa Atoll, Kiha beach features an outdoor pool and views of the sea. The hotel has a barbecue and a private beach area, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant.

Certain units have a seating area where you can relax. A flat-screen TV and minibar is featured. Extras include a hairdryer and towels. The best location on the island. The staff was very nice and helpful, the room big and clean, and the food delicious. Its a very peacefull place, perfect for relaxing. The best part of the place is the beach located right in front of it, very quiet with very few people on it. And ofcourse the view from the room. I would also recommand taking a massage in the hotel spa as I did. Wonderful!

The luxurious Dusit Thani Maldives offers 94 Villas and Residences, located in Baa Atoll, the Maldives’ first and only UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. It features one of Maldives’ largest infinity pools, surrounded by beautiful coral reefs and a turquoise lagoon. With a private beachfront, tree-top spa and free WiFi in rooms, it offers a 360 degree house reef surrounding the island. Staff is able to converse in English, Russian, Arabic, Japanese, Thai and Mandarin Chinese. Breathtaking resort with well kept rooms and a natural atmosphere that feels both luxurious and welcoming. The dining options are excellent, with delicious food and great service, and the resort offers plenty of opportunities to explore and enjoy the surroundings. A special mention goes to my butler, Nizam, who was exceptional in the short time I was there. He was always available to answer my questions, quick to respond to any requests, and personally helped arrange excursions that made my stay even more memorable. The entire team at Dusit Thani was warm, attentive, and professional, nothing ever felt like too much trouble. This level of service and hospitality truly made my visit unforgettable. And of course, let's not forget their beautiful house reef which is a huge plus point for an ocean lover such as myself.

Boasting a year-round outdoor pool and sea views, Wings by Hawks Hotels Kamadhoo Baa Atoll is set in Kamadhoo. This guest house provides a spa and wellness centre, massage services, as well as a bar. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, full-day security and free WiFi. We booked one suite and one room, and honestly both were amazing. I've stayed in a lot of places, but this was one of the best hotels. The rooms were even better than the photos! What really made the stay unforgettable was the incredible staff. Everyone was very kind and the hospitality stood out a lot. Special thanks to the manager, Adms, who was absolutely wonderful. The breakfast (included) was delicious, and overall the entire stay was so comfortable and relaxing, no one wanted to leave. Any requests or small issues we had were quickly handled by the staff, and they responded quickly to texts as well. I highly, highly recommend this hotel, it's worth coming back again.

The breakfast offers buffet, continental or Full English/Irish options. At the accommodation you will find a restaurant serving Mediterranean, Pizza and Seafood cuisine. Vegetarian, dairy-free and halal options can also be requested. Transfer: We were transferred from Malé Airport by the resort's transfer partner, Manta Air seaplane. The transfer process was smooth, and we were greeted immediately after customs control. The waiting area for the seaplane flight was comfortable with a cozy lounge. The flight itself takes approximately 30-40 minutes and lands on a floating platform near the island, where you'll be picked up by boat. Location: The island is beautifully maintained, covered in lush greenery and coconut trees. In the evenings, hundreds of hermit crabs scuttle along the sandy paths, and fruit bats squabble in the treetops. The house reef is fantastic, offering plenty of snorkeling opportunities to see a variety of fish, including occasional curious reef sharks. Snorkeling equipment rental is available and was complimentary during our stay. Sunbeds with umbrellas are spaced out along the beach, ensuring privacy and relaxation. The island is relatively small, taking about 20-30 minutes to walk around. Room: Our room was on the second floor with an ocean view. There are four rooms per house, two on the ground floor and two on the first. Ground-floor rooms have panoramic glass doors leading directly to a small green yard and the beach beyond, while second-floor rooms have a balcony. The bed was large and comfortable, and all necessary toiletries and towels were provided. However, we didn't find slippers (which weren't really needed) and instead of toothpaste, tooth cleaning tablets were available. It's worth noting that in the evenings, geckos were often seen near our entrance, although they didn't enter the room. Crew: All the on-site personnel were cheerful and eager to help. Upon arrival, we were assigned a dedicated remote butler, Manu, who we could contact via WhatsApp. This allowed us to easily schedule and reschedule our activities. You can also use the Avani app for this, but we found that working with Manu was more convenient and added a personal touch.
