This boutique hotel hosts a spa with Peranakan-inspired treatments and an outdoor pool. Free WiFi is accessible throughout and free parking is provided. The Majestic Hotel has always been my favorite place to stay in Melaka. It’s tucked away from the chaos of Jonker Street, yet still close enough to reach on foot. You can take a scenic walk along the river or wander through the town—both routes are equally enjoyable. The rooms are consistently clean and beautifully maintained. The facilities are excellent, and the staff are incredibly helpful, polite, and well-informed about the city and all it has to offer. The only thing I’d like to point out to the management is the bed—it looks plush and inviting, but unfortunately, it’s not as comfortable as it appears! A little upgrade in that area would make the stay absolutely perfect.
