We could hike, see the animals and relax on the property inside and out. We wish we could have stayed longer. Breakfast was perfect, albeit there were small portions - but this eliminates waste. The rest was amazing!

It was so much fun seeing the huskies training.

After a day of skiing or cycling, guests can relax in the garden or in the shared lounge area. - The vibe of the lodge was perfect. When we arrived we were told the lodge was supposed to feel like a home away from home and it was exactly that. Cosy and comfortable. We felt very relaxed but at the same time the staff's attention to detail and hospitality was amazing. We loved chilling in the lounge area where the fire was always on, chilled music playing and the perfect ambience. - The staff, in particular Oliver, Alton and Romero made our stay incredible. The staff were very attentive, knowledgable, friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. - The food was amazing. 5* quality food every evening. The chef checked regularly if we liked the food and came to the table to chat with us each evening about the food. We loved everything but for example for other guests he went out of his way to make something that more suited their tastes. - The activities. We did husky sledding, whale watching and the northern lights tour. They were all excellent and well organised. We didn't get to see the northern lights on our tour due to heavy cloud coverage but the tour guide still went out of his way to try and make the excursion enjoyable. Luckily we had seen the northern lights the previous night sat in the hot tub. They have a full equipment room with everything you need for the excursions including snow suits, snow boots, hats, gloves etc. They will make sure you are well equipped for whatever activity you have booked. - Our room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. I would 100% book this trip again and would recommend this lodge to everyone.

Vegetarian, dairy-free and vegan options can also be requested. The staff was warm and helpful, the restaurant had an amazing view and the atmosphere in the spa was so relaxing. Highly recommend!

With a peaceful location by Lavangsfjord, this eco-friendly guesthouse blends in perfectly with its natural surroundings. Its outdoor terrace offers spectacular views of Spanstinden and Reitetinden Mountains. A very nice hotel in the forest, very peaceful. Sadly we had to skip breakfast, because we had to leave early. The room was big, very confortable and clean...would recomend!
