Essa camp in Wahiba Sands in Al Raka provides accommodation with a spa and wellness centre and massage services. Boasting room service, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service. Nice camp and we did some activities and we had the camp owner Issa himself accompany us with the sunset from the top of the sand and we enjoyed driving Issa he was cooperative with us and a very nice person I recommend visiting the camp and doing the activities there and we saw the little camels and thank you

A buffet, à la carte or continental breakfast can be enjoyed at the property. At Arabian Nights Resort & Spa you will find a restaurant serving American, Chinese and British cuisine. Vegetarian, dairy-free and halal options can also be requested. They were very friendly during check-in. Separate from the resort, I had hired a private driver who attempted to extort me. Luckily I escaped the situation and a driver from the resort picked me up. Still, the driver continued to contact me asking for money and threatening to call the police. He even called the hotel several times. After explaining the situation the hotel staff were very understanding and helped to ward him off. Long story short, the staff will make you feel safe here! Anyway, they offer a range of fun cultural and physical activities to try. I did the Bedouin house tour, Sunset drive, Sand Boarding (highly recommend, good fun), and Camel ride. The food at the restaurant is good and portions are generous. The pool was nice and I wish I used it more.

Yoga classes and fitness classes are arranged at the fitness room in house. Ski equipment hire, bike hire and car hire are available at the luxury tent and the area is popular for skiing and cycling. A casino and an indoor play area are available at Luxury Desert Camp Oman, while guests can also relax on the sun terrace. You could not go past the Luxury Desert Camp if you're seeking a top notch experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful - and the accommodation was superb!

It is super easy to reach with a 4x4 or AWD vehichle, just 14km out from the main road. The area is nice and quiet, with a big dune to climb right next to the camp. The breakfast and dinner was great, very tasty and plenty, also cute to have a popcorn while watching the outdoor cinema. The sultan tent was nice and spacious.

Loved the location right next to the dunes. Our tent was great, spacious and comfortable. Bathroom was large, but no hot water in the first evening. Breakfast was good, plenty of options. Free wifi in the central building.

It was a very fun experience in the desert, despite the fact that the sandstorm started. The tent is spacious, tidy, the bedding is clean. The hosts are wonderful, agreed, told about the desert. They were very nice and friendly. Dinner and breakfast were very nice. we made a bonfire in the evening. I recommend it. Getting to the tents is not difficult.

Rashid was very friendly and helpful wanting to make sure his guests were all happy, we couldn’t find the meeting place in Bidiyah and he sent someone to find us and take us to the camp. Location was just what we hoped for in the sand dunes and tent spacious and clean, lovely big comfortable bed. Plenty of food for breakfast and dinner, as we were late arriving Rashid faves us a little taste of dune bashing on our way back to the car park.

We had a city car, for this reason we could not go to the desert. The hosts give you an appointment at the Bidiyah Castle and take you there by 4x4. The place is amazing and the room is clean and comfortable and spacious with breathtaking view. They took us to watch the sunset on the dunes, a very funny experience. The dinner and breakfast were also excellent and diversified. Hosts were very kind and the after dinner as well with the campfire. Also, not that expensive compared to others in the area.

Everything!!! Definitely you don't spare money for breakfast and dinner. It was delicious, big bufet with different kinds of food. Rashid is very kind and funny guy, which offers you everything and you can talk with him all the time. Tents are very comfortable and you will be sleep there like a baby!!!

We stayed in a tent and it was amazing. The staff was very helpfull, nice and polite. We came there with our 4x4 so we could explore the desert on our own. But the place is reachable by normal car as well. The food was great (dinner/breakfast). If you need a place to relax and walk on the dunes, this is a place to go. All the best to the staff.
