The photos and descriptions don’t do this place justice. Located in a quiet valley half an hour’s walk (or a short drive) from Ollantaytambo the Las Qolqas Eco Resort by far exceeded our expectations. The friendly and helpful staff helped us with all our questions and requests, alongside the manager and the owner of the hotel. They also recommended a Machu Picchu guide for us (Porfirio - charming and very knowledgeable) and helped us with transportation to and from the train station to get to Machu Picchu (included in our room rate). The food on site is excellent, as are the drinks. There are fireplaces in each cabin which they’ll light for you at your request. You can admire hummingbirds from the comfy chairs on your veranda while you can hear the birds chirp and the sounds of the nearby river. We also did a lovely 2hr hike (each way) on an Inka Trail to the nearby Pumamarca Ruins which was amazing and we didn’t see any other tourists the whole way - a great way you get away from the masses. Las Qolqas was easily our favourite place we stayed at in Peru.

À la carte and American breakfast options are available at Andean Wings Valley. Great hotel with a stunning garden and excellent facilities. The atmosphere is incredibly calm and relaxing. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The food at the restaurant was delicious! I highly recommend it.

The breakfast offers buffet, à la carte or continental options. At the accommodation you will find a restaurant serving Peruvian, Pizza and local cuisine. Vegetarian, dairy-free and vegan options can also be requested. Lizzy Wasi is a beautiful little hotel in Urubamba - the gardens are so beautiful and the alpacas are a real treat to hang around with. The property is a short walk into the town (10 mins). We wish that we'd spent more time there and also visited Luna's Horses next door!

The property offers free parking. Breakfast is included. Tea is served daily between 15:00 and 17:00. A very comfortable, quaint hotel with amazing staff. It was clean lots of hot water. The bed linens and pillows were very comfortable. Food was amazing. I recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Pisac.

Tambo del Inka, a luxury establishment located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, is the only hotel in Urubamba that has a private train station with connections to Machu Picchu. The property has a swimming pool and spa. This was our second time to go to this hotel. I like so much the rooms, the huge common spaces and the wellness. The coffee machine in the room is a real extra. We traveld to Machu Picchu with the train (from the hotel’s train station) - it’s very comfy.

We stayed for 2 nights in this hotel and it was one of the best hotels we had in our 14 day trip in Peru. The hotel is not located in the centre of Urubamba which we loved as it is set in a quite location near the river and had amazing mountain views all around. Rooms are vey spacious with beautiful décor, comfortable beds with views of the garden and mountains. Food during breakfast and dinner was really good and there's many options to choose from. All employees were very nice and helpful.

The homestay offers a spa experience, with its spa facilities, wellness packages and fitness room. The homestay has private parking, a hot tub and a 24-hour front desk. I loved the view of the mountains, the environment was amazing, and the owners are an amazing family that makes us feel soo incredibly comfortable like they were there for us all the time and that was so nice. The tree house is really good and have some pillows and games. Also the place has two hammocks, which I consider was the best place to relax and the jacuzzi is incredibly amazing, if you do it at night you have the chance to see the stars and it's simply the best. For sure, the best place to stay and you will have the best memories. The breakfast was sooo tasty!

The accommodation offers a shared kitchen, room service and organising tours for guests. The property was everything I was looking for--comfort, quietude, hospitality and breathtaking scenery.

Luis and his team made us feel totally at home. The location is; a hidden gem, close enough to walk into town, totally safe, peaceful, spacious inside and out - and the team went above and beyond for us. This included bringing in their chef especially for us, ordering us takeaways, helping us with our laundry, bringing us drinks etc etc. We checked out to go to Cusco - only to arrive at our accommodation and realise we'd made a big mistake. So, we called Luis and asked if he'd have us back. We turned back around and stayed at Kutimuy again for another 3 nights.
