Incredible garden, fab history, lovely, welcoming staff with a special shout-out for Vera, the outstanding sommelière at Arcadas (a meal to die for!). Honestly, QdL deserves a 15 out of 10 - money well spent!

How they had a couple rooms available so they let us choose a room and we had a beautiful view of the lovely main Church in the Town center all lit up for Dia de Liberdade . Easy walking distance to several restaurants and around some really cute old city blocks.

Just stunning. Peaceful, full of nature, and very lovely hosts. The baby's cot was made up beautifully too.

So high up that we looked down on a rainbow 🌈 I highly recommend a visit.

Position is perfect, tucked away in a country corner next to a beautiful flowing river. Facilities are brand new and well laid out. The spa was a wonderful addition to the establishment.

Towels and bed linen are offered in the apartment. This apartment is non-smoking and soundproof. Spacious apartment, as a group of four, we felt very comfortable. Close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Having a parking was very convenient as the street parkings were pretty busy.

The staff were incredibly nice, from the reception subchef girl who had the glasses, who always had information and a helpful attitude for anything we asked, to the lady replenishing the breakfast buffet. Just a simple genuinely nice and attentive attitude throughout all the staff we encountered at this hotel!

Breakfast is included in the room rate and served each morning in the bright breakfast area, which overlooks the garden. The nearby Coimbra centre has various traditional Portuguese restaurants. Beautiful hotel with great and attentive staff. They were super helpful and you could tell they really care. The property is so beautiful and unique. As a family of 4, we stayed in two connected rooms, it was clean and spacious. There was a problem with the AC upon check-in, so we were given another room and weren’t charged for that night until it was fixed. Breakfast is very nice, we also had lunch in the restaurant and it was really good. Outdoor pool is calm and beautiful, indoor pool and Jacuzzi are also nice, great little gym and very clean shared facilities. Free parking for guests.
