The facilities were top-notch, providing everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The room was impressively large and spacious, offering a sense of luxury and plenty of space to unwind. The in-room amenities were thoughtful and comprehensive—everything from a fully equipped kitchenette to cozy seating areas and modern appliances, ensuring every need was met. The buffet breakfast was great, the variety and quality of the food were superb, catering to all tastes. The staff deserve a special mention for their warm and friendly service. From check-in to check-out, they ensured our stay was really enjoyable. I would gladly return and highly recommend it.

The hotel is in a fantastic location and is exceptionally clean. We had to adjust our booking at the last minute to include our daughter, and the hotel gladly accommodated our request. I highly recommend staying here and will definitely return.

The hotel features a permanent archaeological exhibition, as well as modern facilities, like an indoor pool, restaurant, massage room and Turkish bath. The staff are fantastic, so happy and welcoming. Good sized room and bathroom.

The accommodation has air-conditioned rooms and free WiFi. In the range of rooms available, there are 3 exclusive royal suites and 2 superior suites with views over the Tagus River or over the old town. What a treat! This building is gorgeous, so lovely just to wander around it. It’s like a museum, so many paintings and layers of history. The breakfast was sumptuous. And the spa was great too. Loved everything about it and only sorry we couldn’t stay longer.

The Hotel features a restaurant with panoramic views, a SPA (for guests aged 16 and over) and fitness centre, meeting facilities and a library. Free WiFi and paid private parking are available. We felt extremely welcome and taken care of from check in till check out. The room did include everything we needed for our visit and was well appointed. The roof top restaurant/bar has amazing views of the castle and city. The sauna, steamroom and, pool are awesome for relaxing after a day of exploring the city. At PortoBay Liberdade guests can enjoy a daily breakfast. Guests can relax at the bar in the hotel. Loved the rooftop jacuzzi and bar, had a fab dinner one night and the beds were very comfortable.

Guests have access to a bar and will be able to enjoy a quality buffet breakfast, with typical Portuguese products, fresh orange juice and homemade cakes. The elegant restaurant 2Monkeys by Chef Vitor Matos is part of the hotel and offers a fine dining option awarded with one Michelin star, in 2024. Black Pavilion is a restaurant and a bar. In addition the surrounding area offers a great variety of traditional Portuguese restaurants. At night, guests can visit the lively Bairro Alto 850 metres away. I like it all, it was amazing, first time and definitely will be back. A huge thanks to all staff.

At the gym guests have a full specialist support. The hotel features indoor and outdoor parking, with paid electrical vehicle charging stations. The hotel is very close to the airport (around 5 min walking) and they also have a shuttle, which is quite handy. Staff is great and helpful. They gave me an upgrade for free, so I ended up with an even better room. By the way, the room was lovely and comfy.
