I liked how central it is to go to the main city and departures to all the attractions. And the staff, the staff was superb. Despite big hotel we received warm welcome with personal touch (welcome drink, welcome card with my name printed and free bottle of wine). Room was very spacious with all amenities you need and ved was very comfortable. At departure we even received a small gift. Very pleasant stay.

Close to the beach and not far from the center. The room was huge!

Les Suites at The Cliff Bay features a heated outdoor swimming pool and a garden in Funchal. Located in the Sao Martinho district, the property provides guests with access to a hot tub, a sauna and three restaurants. We loved everything about the property. Our suit was spacious, clean, gorgeous views. As there are not too many suites it felt very private. We spent hours at the infinity pool and jacuzzi. It was a perfect after hike stay.

A sizeable cultivated garden invites you to unwind and relax. The best hotel during our trip! We were impressed by the green garden, the view and heated swimming pool. The bed was super comfy, the room very clean and the little private terrace outside was a pleasant surprise.

Great hotel with super nice staff. We really enjoyed the spa and they even surprised me with a birthday surprise 😍 Parking was available nearby. They even prepared breakfast boxes for us as we had to check out before breakfast time.
