As I ventured into the room, I found it spacious and well-equipped, featuring everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The shared balcony/terrace added a charming touch, which I didn't mind at all. I was particularly touched by the thoughtful welcome gift basket filled with popular local sweets like Horalky. It's such uncommon insights and personal touches that set this hotel apart. Dinner at the restaurant was simply amazing, served in generous portions, providing a great end to the day. One of my favorite experiences was the sunbathing area by the pond, a perfect spot to unwind and soak in some sun. Even with only an hour of sunlight left, I couldn't resist indulging in this luxurious experience. Looking back, I wish I had stayed for at least two or three nights to fully immerse myself in what this hotel had to offer. This truly felt like an exceptional value for money, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to explore Slovakia in style.

Rezort Sivý Kameň is situated in the village of Podhradie, a 15-minute drive from Bojnice and a 20-minute drive from Prievidza town. Very friendly and warm staff (every single individual), great food, everything is new and undamaged, everywhere it was super clean. Playground for kids both in the restaurant and outside, very nice pools and saunas, great nature around.

It was comfortable, modern, and lovely as well as being spotlessly clean with good wifi and very close to Bojnice Castle. The people who run it - Marcela and her mum - were very lovely and helpful. We hope to return sometime!
