Ended up staying with hotel med an associated hotel. Got into a problem while I was there and the staff were amazing in helping me to sort it out, by providing as much help as they could and made sure I was well looked after. Cannot understate how well the hotel med staff treated me.

Location: very quiet and central, very close to the metro station. There were many restaurants in the area too. Room: with all you need, a comfy bed and a good shower. Everything was spotless. Staff: they were brilliant, very helpful and kind, keen to help with everything. Breakfast was delicious too!

The receptionist, Maria, was very friendly and helpful, the kind of hospitality I would expect in all the places I'm staying. She did lend us a metro card as well which came in handy whilst traveling around Medellin. Also felt like a modern place rather than some old dated hotel in need of TLC like others we came across in other places in Colombia
