Perfect location for the airport. Hotel was a lot nicer than expected, with a really lovely pool area. You can dine by the pool and food was good. Regular shuttle buses to the airport for when you depart. If you have been travelling around Costa Rica on a budget - treat yourself to a spot of comfort before you leave :-)

The green garden area is pretty and relaxing. The host, Edwin is an asset. He is friendly, helpful and interesting to talk to. The rooms are basic and charming. The internet worked well. The location is excellent for shops, transport, restaurants and bars. Easy local bus ride from the airport. We are going back.

A short walk from the centre of town but in a quiet safe neighbourhood, I selected this for the value but found it much better than expected. The host, Luis, is a considerate helpful and friendly man whose pride in his establishment if evident everywhere you look. Our room was small and fairly basic - but clean, functional and with good a/c when needed. The breakfast was excellent local food.

Amazing and very helpful staff, the manager is amazing! Great apartments with great view! Location also very good, 25 minutes from Arenal and 20 minutes from Tiliran. High quality for a very good price and great service.

The thermal baths location and setup is wonderful and better than what it looks in the photos! Definitely worth going and it's included.
