It’s a charming hotel, very friendly vibe. The decoration was pretty, going well with the building itself. Breakfast was perfect, big variety of sweet and savoury food. The room was a good size, clean and well equipped, with comfortable bed.

Really friendly welcome from Lucy at the reception desk, with lots of helpful local information and advice. Room was very spacious and clean, and great view from up in the tower. Includes a free ticket to use the swimming pool and facilities next door which was also really good. Recommended!

I really enjoyed my stay! I came for one night for the Czech language exam that is held near at school. Hotel hosts were very friendly and supportive, gave me good recommendations about the city. The room was very very clean and nice. It had all you can need: hairdryer, towels, kettle, small fridge, tv, glasses and mugs. As a bonus you can feel very cozy and comfy with the electric fireplace and choose the color of your lights in the room to create relaxing atmosphere :) I also ordered breakfast additionally and it was very good, it had eggs, bread, sausages, fruits, coffee, sweet bakery, really a lot and delicious too. The room itself was really nice. If I would be traveling to Ostrava for any other reason I would stay here. And of course it was such a good value for money. Overall I felt very homey vibe :) and for others who come here for the exam, of course the location near the school is a plus. On the day of my exam it was raining so hotel owners offered us a car ride free of charge. It was so nice of them to take care of us. I will always remember their kindness and wish them the best :)

This is the perfect place to stay, especially if you want to break up the trip from Krakow to Prague. Hotel Maria has lovely charm and character and nice decor. Our room was spacious, had a large bathroom, was very clean and the bed comfortable. The employees at reception were very helpful. Definitely recommend staying here.

Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfasts were perfect, good choice and coffee made fresh on arrival to the restaurant for us. We also ate one evening here and the food was absolutely delicious 😋 The room was a triple room with air con and was spacious with a good sized shower and the room was clean and nicely decorated.

    The building is fun and you get great views of the town, from the room, the cafe and also the observation deck. The location is quiet. Included is the entry to the pool, which is very nice, and the saunas, which are excellent.

    Breakfast buffet was good and there were various options. The Location of the Hotel was good as we were on our way furhter to south. The Hotel had a nice little museum downstairs to tell the history of this old and beautiful state Hotel. Rooms were big and the ceilings were high making the feeling really majestic.
