The pension is great value for money. The building itself is historic, with so much character and charm. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic. Directly opposite the pension, there’s a bowling bar that’s perfect for some fun after a day of exploring. They have air hockey, billiard, and darts, making it a great spot for both kids and adults to unwind. The hosts were incredibly friendly and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed. The free ski bus was an added convenience, making it easy to get to the slopes without any hassle. The surrounding nature was breathtaking, with stunning snowy landscapes that looked straight out of a postcard. Whether you’re into skiing, hiking, or just enjoying the serene beauty of the area, this place has it all. Highly recommended for a cozy, fun, and memorable getaway!

Last year we stayed in Janske Lazne and cycled past the "Hotel Vydrovy boudy Pec pod Sněžkou", and we said, next time we come to Pec we have to stay there. And we just stayed there, as a family of four and our dog. What do we love about it ? The location is magnificent, it is on the plateau at the top of the mountain, you feel like you are on top of the world, it is a recently built mountain chalet, and done in a beautiful style, we had the half board and the breakfast and evening meal were absolutely perfect. The hotel is run by the owner who is very friendly and very helpful with local knowledge, where to hike, where to stop for lunch. In the evening you have beautiful sunsets with views which stretch for tens of miles, at night there is a quietness which cannot be matched. We need to explore Pec more, and we will be staying here again next time and using it as our base. What more to say, Hotel Vydrovy boudy Pec pod Sněžkou is a gem, enjoy it.

The whole building and its interior looks new and in perfect condition. The rooms are pleasant with comfortable beds, refrigerator, dining table. There is a well equipped shared kitchen on each floor. Located about 5 minutes from bus stop and a good restaurant is a couple of hundred meters away.

Atmosphere of the place was special; beautiful landscape, cozy restaurant with very good unlimited food, very tasty wine, possibility to prepare lunch "box" for your excursions. Very attentive and respectful hosts. I loved the availability of a sauna, which was so perfect on a slightly cloudy/ rainy day. The quietness of the location, the proximity of the trails, a nearby water spring, and the "rybnik" pond for swimming were perfect for me. Breakfast was okay, not exactly what I'd normally eat, but satisfying. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed discovering some typical Czech dishes for dinner. Jana is a good cook! Great experience overall.
