The location was really convenient (close to the tram & a grocery store right next to it), the room was a very great size, good-looking and super comfortable. Staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel had a great communal bathroom and a luggage storage space as well, which both came in handy for me after checkout.

Excellent location right opposite the main train station and in a very safe area. Our room, albeit somewhat small, was immaculately clean. Loved the bathroom and the hot towel rail was really welcome! Staff at reception were incredibly helpful and special mention must be made of the hardworking staff in the breakfast room, as well as housekeeping staff. A big bonus was the complimentary 24-hour tea/coffee bar and pastries adding a homely atmosphere to the hotel.

This hotel is designed in an original style. Each room is different. I had a lovely single room - Roi des ballons - on the 4th floor. I wished to have this room and the guy at the reception (Alexy, I think) kindly asigned it to me. I was really grateful, thank you so much! I absolutely loved the room. It is simple but clean and quite spacious (I was suprised) and had everything I needed for a short stay in Strasbourg. Wifi also worked very well. The hotel is located close to the railway station. Not a nicest area, as in any city, but nothing dramatic. I came by/left with the bus from the Frankfurt airport and the bus stop was just 3 minutes walk from the hotel, which was great. There is a rather cheap bakery right opposite the hotel, it is convenient for breakfast. Breakfast is also offered at the hotel but it is 12 euro (I think) and it makes sense for people eating more than I do in the morning. There are many other bakeries, restaurants and shops in the streets around, as well as in the railway station and, of course, in the centre of Strasbourg. The centre can be easily reached on foot within cca 15 minutes, there is also good connection by buses/trams. Overall, I was very happy with hotel Graffalgar and I will certainly try to book a room there again during my next trip to Strasbourg.

    Nice hotel in Strasbourg in case you are on budget or traveling by car. It’s 10-15 min from city centre by tram depending on what’s your desired location. Parking was for free which is a huge plus.
