Room was quiet, comfortable, and had a very good work area. Wifi was excellent. Shower had excellent water pressure. Located on the via San Francesco, the Hotel is very convenient to the Santo and only 10 minutes from center city. The staff was uniformly helpful, polite, and clear in their explanations.

Padova is a lovely city and gives you a balance to the frantic pace of Venice. The hotel is in a quiet and very safe area, a little stroll from the bus and train station. The hotel itself has a quiet and dignified atmosphere: the lobby is nice and welcoming and the rooms are spacious, comfortable and well looked after. The breakfast is worth taking: a buffet spread with lots of interesting items as well as delightful service from two lady staff members. The staff at reception were great at offering advice about places to eat: I felt they were talking honestly rather than reeling off standard dives for tourists who know no better. I would happily return here.

The attention of the staff is wonderful. Breakfast is very varied and complete. It is worth including it in the price, additionally because there are no places to eat nearby. Perfect room amenities. Easy Wi-Fi connection. The taxi from the train station to the hotel charged me almost 8 euros. The taxi we ordered from the hotel to the train station charged me 16 euros (I don't know what the price difference is due to).

From the time we were greeted at the front desk by Georgia (hope I have spelled her name correctly) until our lovely breakfast the next morning with a very friendly and attentive server, whose name we should have gotten but didn't, everything about our stay was superb. When we booked Hotel al Prato, we were hoping that it would be a good spot for our night in Padua. We can only say that our expectations were exceeded in every respect. Bravo!
