We were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at ease. The kaiseki dinner with local specialties was fantastic, and the breakfast with homemade miso was equally delightful — ごちそうさまでした. The onsen may be small, but it is beautifully designed and very relaxing. Throughout our stay, we truly felt like being at home.

The amount of facilities was overwhelming and the service couldn’t be better our host helped us with the suitcase to our room. The dinner and breakfast was outstanding and everything was perfect to the very minor details.

Located within a 2-minute walk from Gero train station, a 5-minuit walk to main town and the beautiful and clean river, location is unbeatable. Although the outdoor onsen is not big, it is sufficient for guests as there are not many rooms so not many guests use the onsen at the same time. Food is great as expected. Service is warm and friendly.
