As we had a child with a wheelchair they kindly advised and booked restaurant for dinner. Beautiful artwork. Shame we only spent a night as a night journey stop, will definitely stay longer and explore area next opportunity.

The Alpine-style rooms all feature a balcony, satellite TV, a seating area, and a bathroom. The view was amazing to the river. Incredible view to the village in the day time and nice nature sounds from the river flowing next to the hotel at night.. the host as well as his mother were so kind and assisted a lot in activity guidance. The breakfast was just fresh and the restaurant searing and decoration is just like traditional local homes.. a lot of interesting activities around the hotel and some other nice villages are just 10 min drive.. my room was very specious and the balcony was just breathtaking.

In summer and in winter, this centrally located but quiet hotel is an ideal starting point for all activities in Wildschönau. The hotel features a large sauna and relax area, as well as a heated outdoor pool (open in summer), both of which are free to use for hotel guests. It offers comfortable rooms with balcony, an excellent restaurant, an elevator and plenty of parking. We had an incredible experience at this charming hotel. The hosts were exceptionally warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Our room was cozy and spotless, with beautiful views of the countryside. The breakfast was a highlight, offering a diverse selection of delicious local dishes.

Hiking, walking tours and pub crawls are possible within the area, and the guest house offers ski storage space. Lovely room, lovely breakfast, stunning location and Christian the owner was brilliant. We used the Gasthof Schontal as a base for travelling to and from Kitzbuhel for a days skiing and the Hahnenkahm races. A half hour drive takes you to Kirchberg in Tyrol where there is free parking and a free shuttle train which takes you into Kitzbuhel itself. Perfect

With free WiFi, this 3-star hotel offers room service and an ATM. Guests can enjoy mountain views. greeted by staff member who ran out to point the way to the garage. Offered a room upgrade but given a further upgrade to an extremely nice room. Meals & service all great. Will go again for sure

The rooms were so nice and quiet and comfortable with beautiful Mountain views. It is a working farm so there are horses and sheep and dogs; we loved it all. The breakfast was delicious- bacon, eggs, breads, fruit, cheese - all freshly sourced. We had desserts and cappuccino which were nicely presented and the warm chocolate cake was to die for . We hope to visit again and highly recommend to everyone
