Guests staying at Lake Bolac Motel can take a 1.5 hour drive to the Twelve Apostles or drive through the Grampians to Halls Gap. It's super clean and well renovated. The owner couple was friendly and helpful. Theres a patio outside where you can have BBQ or enjoy your meals. It's really a pity that we stayed only one night. Best motel we had in Australia.

Halls Gap township is a 5-minute drive away. Beautiful place with private kangaroos, peacocks, emus, chicken and goats. Kangaroos come really close to the bungalows and it's super cute to observe them. You can get fresh eggs from the chickens. The bungalow has a private kitchen with stove, oven, microwave and fridge. This is a great place to relax for a few days or go on hikes in the national park.

Halls Gap Motel is surrounded by the magnificent Grampians Mountains and is located on the fringe of the valley floor. It offers free on-site parking, free Wi-Fi access and ground-floor units.

The best holiday park I’ve been at for a really long time. The cabin/container was above my expectations.

Under new management since 2019, Horsham Westlander Motor Inn is a 5-minute drive from Horsham town centre and 4 km from Horsham Golf Club. Mount Arapiles State Park is a 40-minute drive away. The room is what you expect from a well managed motel! 1. Late check-in option and self pickup of key options. Clear instructions to retrieve keys were texted on the day of check-in. 2. The room had everything I needed - TV, kettle, microwave, fridge, iron and board, coffee-milk and cookies! 3. Great space for a couple! Facilities such as pool and outdoor area to relax available within property. The room was well planned. 4. Quiet space and no loud neighbours. 5. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. Any place that offers conditioner deserves bonus points!

Had everything I needed for a short stay on my way to Grampians. Room was spacious, bathroon clean, fridge and microwave, easy check in.

31 km from Hamilton Performing Arts Centre, Dunkeld Village Accommodation - formally Dunkeld Studio Accommodation is set in Dunkeld and features free WiFi and express check-in and check-out. This 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom. The property is non-smoking and is situated 7.4 km from Mount Abrupt. Location great. Didn't have breakfast.

Located in Ararat, less than 1 km from J Ward Museum, Ararat Colonial Lodge Motel provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. This 3-star motel offers luggage storage space. The motel features family rooms. We stayed here on a Saturday night because we were doing one of the local ghost tours in town. They were currently in the middle of a renovation when we stayed, but that didn’t bother us. We were in a newly renovated room and it was really good. Nicely done, great bathroom, good amenities and the service was good too. The location is great because it’s a two minute walk from the main street with good local shops and restaurants. I would recommend staying here if you need somewhere in Ararat.
