There is also a nice restaurant 100 meters away from the hotel. We could also leave our luggage at the hotel as we were to early to book in.

Hotel Jägerhof enjoys a quiet location close to the centre of Zermatt, a 5-minute walk from the Klein Matterhorn cable car. It has a gym and offers free WiFi.

The rooms have a flat-screen TV with many international channels. The Matterhorn can be seen from some of the rooms. My room was spacious and comfortable, and everything worked well. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were excellent, and dinners were outstanding (I decided to eat only at the hotel). Location was good: it's around 10 minutes easy walk to the town centre, and the hotel provides a bus to ferry guests to and from the train station.

Location: walking distance to all transportation stops Staff: very friendly and helpful. Breakfast: AWESOME! So many varieties, not common in Switzerland hotels. Room with kitchen: equipped with all necessities.

Walking tours and bike tours are possible within the area, and the bed and breakfast offers ski storage space. Very nice property with excellent hosts that make sure your every need is met. Property is located close to the city center with restaurants and a grocery store. The views from our balcony in the front of the hotel were fantastic. Really enjoyed the atmosphere of a small village versus a large city or town. If you want to get away from the multitude of tourists this is the place.

Quiet, friendly staff and great location. Really appreciated some delicious sandwiches for my breakfast, since I needed to begin walking before breakfast in order to beat the heat. The concierge was so kind and helpful to suggest that!
