Lovely to look out of the window and see chickens geese and ducks. The owners are very welcoming and were happy for our dog to have free run of the orchard field. The owner gave us tips on where to visit and where to eat. He couldn’t be more helpful. Donkeys were very amusing.

We absolutely loved our long weekend at Box Cottage. It’s full of original character and is nestled in a lovely little village with an amazing pub! The cottage is quaint and pokey, but still amazing. Get the log burner going to warm the whole house up to a nice and cosy temperature.

Offering free private parking, this 3-star holiday home also features free WiFi. This little cottage was perfect. Very comfortably furnished, and the kitchen had everything you could need. The cottage was very clean and well organized. The host was very friendly and even brought over some local strawberries. I was made to feel welcome immediately. There are some beautiful English heritage sites to visit nearby, and the local pub they recommended was great.

The towels and robes were provided and ample. The wine and cake for us upon arrival was a thoughtful touch.
