The George Inn is opposite Oakham School, Oakham Castle and ideal for visits to Burghley House and Rockingham Racetrack Oakham train station is a 2-minute walk away. Free parking is offered to guests. Only had the light breakfast first two days as I was meeting friends in the area for lunch on both occasions, which was ample and was only charged a minimal amount ,on third day had full breakfast which was cooked and presented very well,more than I could eat. Property was great with an old fashion feel agood place to spend a relaxing few days,would liked to have stayed longer but flight schedules home made our stay short.

Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the homestay free of charge. The property is non-smoking and is set 32 km from Leicester Railway Station. Jubilee House was perfect for our needs, meeting up with family. There was ample accommodation for the 6 of us. We ate in and we also ate at the lovely pub 50 yards away. We needed two car parking spaces, so one of us had to park on the road, which worked out OK. The town itself is lovely, and we also went bike riding and the Aqua Park at Rutland. Highly recommended.
