A golf club can also be found within a 15-minute walk of the hotel, and Edinburgh city centre can be reached in less than an hour by car. David was incredible friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Edinburgh Waverley Rail Station, Edinburgh Castle and the shops of Princes Street are within a 15-minute bus ride. We LOVE the host's hospitality! Kevin was an absolute gem! The place was the first stop on our honeymoon, and thanks to Kevin's hospitality, we felt it was the best start we could have ever had! We also loved how big the room and the bathroom were, and the lovely breakfast every morning! Simply blew our minds!

The reception area was so welcoming and warm. Every member of staff was friendly and chatty. This small family-run inn was one of our favourite places to stay during our two-week trip in Scotland. The house is situated on a beautiful peninsula with a lovely view and a “getting away from it all” feel. The interior has been lovingly renovated with creative touches using natural materials — e.g., our room had a woven jute toilet-paper holder and a spalted-birch beam across the ceiling — and guests have ample common space in the well stocked breakfast room and lounge. The hands-on owners were very warm and hospitable and the breakfast was superb.

That's a wonderful thing because it means that the hotel is connected to the place in which it is situated and Iona is a very special place.
