The location is truly perfect – all major sights are within walking distance and there’s a metro station just around the corner. Due to the central location it can be a bit noisy, so if you’re sensitive to sound, bringing earplugs is a good idea. The staff was overall nice, but I especially want to highlight the breakfast team: the food they served was by far the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. On top of that, the service was incredibly kind and sweet – simply outstanding! All in all, a highly recommended hotel in Athens.

Located just 15 metres from the sea in Hydra,Hotel Sophia is housed in a restored 19-century building and offers a shared lounge, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi access. This 3-star hotel is 15 metres from Hydra Port and 350 metres from The Hydra Museum Historical Archives. It was a very good experience, I really enjoyed my stay there. The location is perfect, facing the port and on the same level as the arrival from the boats, which means not carrying suitcases up the alleys and stairs of Hydra. The hotel itself is small but very nice, the room is perfectly clean, with a good size, comfortable bed and good shower. I did not get a room with balcony, but there’s a communal balcony where I could sit down and enjoy the view. The staff is also very cordial and kind.

The restaurant serves creative dishes and a variety of Greek wines. This property is in an excellent location, a very short walk to the acropolis, also restaurants. Cafes etc. Terry, the manager was very helpful, welcome drink on arrival. Breakfast was very good. Cappuccino Coffee with breakfast. Our room had a view from the window of the Acropolis, also as well as a rooftop bar and restaurant they had a restaurant right in front of hotel which was very pleasant to have a meal or snacks with a drink, again, with a view of Acropolis.
