Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. Large area with a great outdoors space. Definitely a great place to stay if you are visiting the bay of islands, which was one of my favorite places in New Zealand. We had one room with a lot of area, and another with very little area, so that was interesting.

A great place to walk and explore the wide array of interesting plants and mature trees.

This holiday park is within walking distance to the Paihia village and a short ferry trip to Russell. There is a large supermarket 5 minutes' walk away. Austria Motel Paihia is 4 minutes’ drive from the famous Waitangi Treaty Grounds, and 10 minutes’ drive from Haruru Falls. Kerikeri Airport is a 25-minute drive away. We were greeted by a lovely lady when check-in. The room was perfect. Warm, quiet, spotless and spacious. We loved the big airmchairs. The kitchen had everything you could ever need. The bathroom was a little bit dated but the shower was modern, big and clean. Location was excellent too.
