The country house is just lovely, set in leafy green grounds and within walking distance of lakes and even a Swedish elk park. Carl Larsson's iconic house is a 30 minute drive as is Falun, so there is much to explore in the area. But for peace and quiet, you couldn't find a more perfect setting. The rooms were spacious and airy, the beds very comfortable, and we left with a sense of total refreshment. A most special place we definitely look forward to returning to.

In summer, the large garden is an ideal location to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. The whole campus was beautiful and the accommodations themselves were so pretty and comfortable

The individually decorated rooms at Klockargården are furnished in a style that is typical for the Dalarna region. All include cable TV, a work desk and WiFi access. Full breakfast had everything including bacon, eggs and whipped cream for the pancakes. Mari-Ann at front desk is very knowledgeable and helpful.

Villa Långbers has received guests since the 1930s. Each room includes a work desk and a tiled bathroom. All have a flat-screen TV with cable channels. This hotel has a wonderful view of the lake, as it sits higher on the hill than any other hotel in Tallberg. Our room had wonderful views of the entire lake, and since it was mid June, we had beautiful sunrise and sunset views—all day (and almost all night) long. The staff was very friendly and the food was very good.
