Speaking English and Thai, staff will be happy to provide guests with practical information on the area at the reception. It’s old, dated and looks like it’s set in an industrial wasteland. Poor signage also led me to the back of the building, not the front. The day I went the lifts were both out of action so I had to carry my bags up 4 flights of stairs (32 stairs) even though my room was on the 2nd floor. The small room had no kettle, tea or coffee. (The lovely ladies at reception agreed to lend me a kettle - it was broken! Then they gave me one that worked. I bought my own tea/coffee.). This whole place gave me the impression of having been abandoned decades ago and just rediscovered.
