From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared for by Mark and Marjerie, they are incredible hosts. Their warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, providing the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. We even got to see girafs and antelopes while having our morning coffe in the back yard. But the real highlight was the food! They oragized a barii for us, and tought of every detail so that we could taste the most tradicional dishes in the área. Every meal was a delicious treat. We can't wait to return and experience this again!

The en suite canvas tents have a patio and offer views of the valley. Each has a built-in shower, hot running water and electricity. The entire experience was phenominal. The amazing staff, the welcome, the foof, the luxury rented, and of course, the 2 game drives were incredible, with us seeing so many animals, despite the rain. We were mostly dry on the trucks, and there was a lovely fire to warm us up on our return. A fantastic family experience that we will never forget. Thanks to our fantastic guide, Roxy!

Offering an intimate Big 5 safari experience, Quatermain's 1920's Safari Camp features a boma bonfire and BBQ facilities. It is located in the Amakhala Game Reserve.

The colonial-style tents come with a private patio and outdoor seating. They also have military campaign-style furniture and rustic bathrooms equipped modern facilities. Our stay at Quatermains was a 10/10. With just 3 tents each 2 beds available, there is a very family like atmosphere. The tens are clean but simple and let you have the real Safari experience. The Rangers David and Johan take you on safari 2 times a day and really take their time to explain, educate and spot all the wildlife. Julie and Rian care for each of the guests and make the stay a long lasting memory. Thank you so much!

Storms River Guest Lodge features an outdoor pool, and free private parking. For a small, single bed room it was still quite spacious, with a wardrobe and desk, and ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful and the option to order my preferred meal was appreciated, in addition to the lovely buffet. The village had several dinner options, and menus for each were available to peruse before deciding where to go, most were in easy walking distance. It was easy to find and the staff were all lovely.

The accommodation is very comfortable and peaceful but only a short walk from an excellent restaurant.
