We booked one night at Ferienhaus Herrenschmiede for a quick stop during a road trip around Austria. Even though we arrived too late, Kim gave us all the facilities to enter the house without any problems. Ferienhaus Herrenschmiede is a very tastefully decorated house, with a great attention to detail in every corner. We were surprised by the number of amenities provided, with a wide range of possibilities for outdoor activities nearby, both in summer and winter. On top of that, after we found out we forgot a beanie at the house upon our departure, Kim very kindly offered to send it back to my address. All in all, highly recommendable accommodation in every aspects and we will surely make sure to come back if we get the chance.

Beautiful surroundings, very quiet, farm environment, lots of animals for children to enjoy. Well-equipped house, although a bit far from everything. At the same time, it is very spacious, allowing for comfortable accommodation of larger groups. Worth noticing that the many bedrooms also have a sufficient number of bathrooms.

Beautiful location, with wonderful view of the valley below and the opposite mountains, with lots of sun on the balcony during the day. We were there in May, so before the summer season, hence it was very calm around, very private. The equipment in the house is absolutely sufficient for a longer stay as well. The supermarket in the town nearby provides all necessities. Free parking spot right next to the house. Nicely close to several nature wonders, waterfalls, the Grossglockner etc., ideal for bicycle/bike/car trips. Very nice and helpful host!

This house is amazing. Really big and can accommodate multiple families. Clean and with quality equipment. Best part is that two sides of house face nature. Lovely meadow with random deer encounters. And small stream with cows. Great location for trips around the valley.
