From this house and location, we got maximum satisfaction. We felt completely at home – everything necessary is provided, and even more. During our journey, our car had a flat tire, and the owner helped us find a service center and booked us in for repair. Special thanks to Johannes and Ricarda for the homemade treats! 😉 We will happily return.

Very cosy house with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, which was very convenient for our family of 9! One room even had a child’s bed, additionally to an extra single bed, which was great. We didn’t meet Tanja, but were in contact by messages, and felt very welcome with the cookies etc. waiting for us in the house! She also sells some of her farm products there, which is convenient when you don’t want to go shopping right away (e.g. eggs, jam, oil,..). The kitchen was very well equipped, as were the bathrooms (all 3 with hairdryers, one with a big tub and washer & dryer (for an extra cost). The location is also quite convenient for lots of different excursions a little further away (Salzburg, Porsche Erlebniswelt, Hallstatt,..) We can also recommend Gasthaus Ölgraben for a tasty austrian meal, 10mins away by car. The first night we used the recommended pizza delivery service Gazis Pizzaservice and were not disappointed! Make sure to walk to the end of the street the house is situated on, to have a great view of the lake Mondsee!

Everything was perfect. The view from the house was stunning with the lake and imposing mountains. You could sit on the terrace and have your breakfast looking at the incredible view. The house was very well equipped and pretty. The owners were very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. They picked us up from the train station. It was a short walk to the lake where you could swim. The village of Traunkirchen was not far to walk and from there you can catch a boat to Gmunden. They are a few cafes in Traunkirchen too. Traunkirchen is a pretty little village. It was nice to get away from the crowds in Vienna.

Comfortable house in a peaceful, quiet location surrounded with meadows and fields. Birds singing, mountain hills in the distance, friendly hosts next door. Even a wild rabbit came to welcome us near the house :-) and we really enjoyed meeting him. The house is equipped with everything we needed (from hand soap and shower gel, dishwasher pods, every possible kitchen utencil, cutlery etc). The beds are comfortable and everything was exceptionally clean.
