From the moment we walked into Baxter's, the house felt like a home from home. Sue had catered for everything. For us, the house was a great location, being a 10 minute walk to the delightful CBD of Clare. We had a couple of lovely meals at restaurants, Seed and Indii. The surrounding countryside was pretty, and we enjoyed exploring the historic villages, wineries, and breweries that were in abundance. All in all, a fabulous and memorable stay.

Our second stay at The Olive House in Clare was fantastic! Nestled among beautiful olive trees, the location was peaceful and picturesque, with vineyards stretching into the distance. The home itself was incredibly spacious, providing plenty of room to relax and unwind. The kitchen was a standout — fully equipped with everything we needed, plus a generously stocked pantry, fridge, and even a coffee machine, which was a thoughtful touch. Mornings on the deck with a fresh coffee in hand, watching the sun rise over the olive trees and vineyards, were truly unforgettable. The kids loved flicking through the great range of books and exploring through the olive grove, adding a sense of adventure to the stay. The combination of comfort, space, and a stunning natural setting made The Olive House a perfect retreat — we’d absolutely stay again!
