The property was clean, and and we had plenty of privacy even though the hosts stay close by. The hosts were very accommodating and gave us great recommendations to explore around. They also had e-bikes that we could hire to get around the area which was very convenient. Overall we loved our time as the stay.

The location was wonderful - right in the centre of town so you can walk to everything you need in terms of food (and coffee!) - and the house was both beautiful and comfortable. I loved that it was a traditional cottage with period character but the kitchen and bathrooms were modern and spotless. I was slightly worried about being cold as it was the middle of winter, but the heating was incredibly effective and we were warm and cosy. Thank you very much for the delicious bottle of local wine and the other little extras! We love Beechworth and I have already recommended staying at the Cottage to others.
