We had a fantastic stay at Tiny Away Castlemaine — it was more comfortable than we expected, with thoughtful touches that made all the difference. Our host, Richard and Mellisa, was excellent and even helped us out with some extra coffee pods, which was much appreciated! We especially loved making the most of the outdoor bath and deck, the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the peaceful surroundings. It was also a huge bonus that our two old pooches could join us for the long weekend — such a pet-friendly gem. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a romantic regional escape with all the comforts, charm, and a welcoming host. We’ll definitely be back!

Unexpected luxury fabulously comfortable bed plenty warm additional blankets which though cooler we didn't need. Nice touch with flavoured soda water and crackers in addition to the tea, coffee etc. More equipment in kitchenette than in many larger cabins. Very quiet location.

This property was perfect for a couple. It was centrally located, easy walk to the main street of Castlemaine. The bedroom, bathroom and living area was spacious and clean. With the fireplace in the living area it was a perfect couples retreat for a few days.

Somewhat inadequate quantity of breakfast provisions for 5 guests for 3 nights. Cereal adequate & 1 litre of milk but only 6 eggs provided. The quality of provisions was excellent.

This was a privately owned house but it was beautiful. It is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed in and was perfect for our family with children and grandchildren. It was a short walk into town but we were supplied with quality breakfast supplies (muesli and coffee). From the street the house looks like a little cottage but there is a modern addition at the rear. It was all on one level with a lovely garden at the back and was very safe for our toddlers. The living areas could be closed off from the bedrooms so people could sleep without being disturbed.
