The location was amazing!!! 20 minutes drive from Interlaken. Also the property had everything one could need. There is a small 24/7 store for urgent supplies like milk, butter, some snacks etc.

As the owners describe this is an old wooden house, but please don’t be put off by the word old. It’s is such a special building full of character and charm. The shared bathrooms were always clean and the huge kitchen in the basement is equipped with everything you need. Switzerland is not the cheapest place to eat out so being able to cook your own meals was very cost friendly. And now to the surroundings.. wow is all I can really say. Alpenhof is basically the last house in the valley and the views around it were absolutely amazing. Snow topped mountains right behind, waterfalls all through the valley, a beautiful flat walk to lauterbrunnen. Dianne the owner only added to the charm of the place, we felt so grateful to have had the opportunity to stay in somewhere so beautiful. As Mary Poppins said Alpenhof was “practically perfect in every way”

What a wonderful experience. The tiny eco lodges are perfect for a quiet, relaxing getaway, yet close to all the exciting activities Interlaken has to offer. The small unit consists of a comfy bed nook with picturesque views, a cozy seating area, a fully equipped kitchen, a rather spacious bathroom, and a charming outside area. The smart layout with additional storage below the bed and seating area provides more space and comfort than originally anticipated. Clean. Cozy. Comfortable. And it truly isn’t an exaggeration to say that the views ARE gorgeous!

We had a wonderful experience staying at a beautiful and comfortable Alpine cottage equipped with all the amenities. Located in idyllic Salgesch surrounded by breathtaking views of the mountains, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house itself was cozy and well-furnished, perfect for a getaway.

The accommodation is exactly as described and as shown in the pictures. You have the whole bungalow by yourself and it was specious too. The place comes with complete facilities including washing and dryer if you need to do some laundry. Will need to prepare coins (changeble at reception/shops) so no need to worry if you do not have one. There is direct bus to the place too either from Interlaken Ost or Interlaken West Station. The host was very friendly and will respond to any of your queries promptly. We had a great time there! Thanks Deniz!
