This place is a hidden gem! We totally loved the natural environment, in the middle of the jungle. It’s so secluded and nice. The owner tries her best really well and she’s the most friendly host you will meet. The has a spectaculair eye for detail. There are plants, animals, sounds of the jungle: everything you would expect given the pretty location, we loved it and would recommend!

Landscape was great ! Sharon and Eric were excelent hosts! There were two sloths in their garden . Breakfast was Great! Room was very nice, tidy and clean. There was a microwave and a fridge in the room. Courtesy coffe at anytime. They provide you with towels for the beach that was very near. We could left our rented car at their place while we traveled a few days to Bocas del Toro in Panama.

Ok, let me start with the fact I almost never share comments on booking.com. But for Los Delfinos Lodge I want to make an exception. Miguel is absolutely AMAZING. Oh and did I say that the property is as amazing as Miguel? The hospitality, the car drive in the night to the city Center, the stories about the environment, the bikes, the beds. Lovely to wake up with the sound of howler monkeys and then make our breakfast in our own kitchen. This is the message you wanted to read in the reviews: go to los delfinos lodge, you won’t regret it! 🙏 ❤️🍀

It’s my 7th visit to Puerto Viejo, since I fell in love with this place, and this was far better than anything I rented here before. It’s just something else…I guess when the plants grow higher this will look as you were living in the jungle. But even now, when it’s new, you have that experience. The breakfast is exceptional, the staff is very friendly, the manager really knows his job. I’m not sure whether I most enjoyed the early mornings, when the jungle switches on and the howler monkeys wake you up, or the evenings, for the illumination of the resort is just another experience. I like a log…it’s beautiful, amazing and outstanding, really

This was the best place I have ever stayed in Costa Rica. I was VERY pleased with the kindness of the hosts, the amenities, and the location. I felt very safe here. As a single female traveler, that is very important to me. For the price that I paid to stay here, I was not expecting to be this satisfied. It was VERY clean, and felt new/updated. I cannot be more grateful that I came across this place!

The host was simply lovely. Very helpful, even before we arrived. We were even able to check in earlier then we communicated. We had a small issue during heavy rain with some water in one of the bedrooms but she immediately came down and fixed it right away. She would literally do everything in order to give you the best stay of your trip. Also, the accommodation is terrific! Close to Playa Negra, very quiet neighborhood. Rooms are spacious and clean,the balcony is a nice place to stay and we had lots of fun in the swimming pool. All in all, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

    Eric and Sharon are lovely, gracious hosts. The villas are quaint each with a private patio and grounds are beautiful with nature all around you. We saw many different types of birds including toucans and there are sloths living in the trees above.

    This is place is a hidden gem! Situated in a jungle where you don’t expect one (close to infrastructure, 7 minutes walk to the supermarket and beach) you can spot so many animals (monkeys, butterflies, birds, frogs, …) from your open kitchen, bedroom or rooftop. It is a quiet place perfect to relax and unwind. The villas are completely new and offer everything you need (including a well equipped kitchen). The host is wonderful and helps you in any way possible to make your stay comfortable and unforgettable. I very much enjoyed my stay!
