I was looking for a calm and relaxing stay and I found it here at Le Fier Paon. Many thanks to the wonderful hosts, Robin & Tamara, who offered a warm welcome, including a bottle of rosé in the fridge. It's not often that you find hosts who are so immediately sensitive to their guests' need for either companionship and suggestions or the complete opposite! They were on hand when needed but otherwise gave me the peace I was looking for and for that I am very grateful. The lovely gite was both spacious and comfortable, beautifully and tastefully decorated and very comfortable - a great deal of attention has been paid to the furnishing of the gite and I found everything arranged in a thoughtful and practical manner. I barely moved from the reading corner on the mezzanine, the armchairs were perfect! The kitchen was very well equipped (sharp knives!!) and everywhere was spotlessly clean. There was a choice of lovely seating areas outside and parking was very secure in the gated courtyard. As a woman travelling alone, I felt very safe here. I hope to return here soon and next time I would like to explore more of the beautiful countryside surrounding the gite.

The Maison de Village was impeccably clean and tidy, well equipped, spacious and with a useful personal terrace. It had nice touches such as WiFi and integral blue tooth speakers. Wonderfully modern and functional. The host was absolutely amazing. Helpful and friendly, especially as we arrived a little late. I would recommend this place without reservation.
