Fabulous cottage in a great location for cycling the Blue Way or La Voie Bleue. So comfortable we wished we were staying a week. Very spacious and well equipped with everything you need for your stay. Marie the host is extremely helpful and gives you valuable information for your stay.

I was looking for a calm and relaxing stay and I found it here at Le Fier Paon. Many thanks to the wonderful hosts, Robin & Tamara, who offered a warm welcome, including a bottle of rosé in the fridge. It's not often that you find hosts who are so immediately sensitive to their guests' need for either companionship and suggestions or the complete opposite! They were on hand when needed but otherwise gave me the peace I was looking for and for that I am very grateful. The lovely gite was both spacious and comfortable, beautifully and tastefully decorated and very comfortable - a great deal of attention has been paid to the furnishing of the gite and I found everything arranged in a thoughtful and practical manner. I barely moved from the reading corner on the mezzanine, the armchairs were perfect! The kitchen was very well equipped (sharp knives!!) and everywhere was spotlessly clean. There was a choice of lovely seating areas outside and parking was very secure in the gated courtyard. As a woman travelling alone, I felt very safe here. I hope to return here soon and next time I would like to explore more of the beautiful countryside surrounding the gite.

It's such a nice spot in nature. We enjoyed the sunsets from the deck, watched the herons and swans flying by, relaxed under the apple tree, and explored the area by car and foot.. We received lots of advice to explore, and Maxime and Marie were very friendly and welcoming. The accommodation has everything you need and is so comfortable. Wouldn't hesitate to come back, and I hope lots of other people will experience this little gem hidden in nature.

Lovely house with everything you need. The hosts gave me a tour of the house, explained how things work and left me some bread and homemade apricot jam! And then they also gave me some fresh eggs! It was all delicious, oh and the bed was comfy too!
