Our second stay at la Calade was even better than our first! A beautifully restored 16th Century home with everything we needed for three couples. Perfect location - a 10 minute walk from the lovely town of Gordes. Weather was perfect for enjoying the beauty of the surroundings while sitting on the terrace. Jean Pierre was an excellent host, checking in on us to be sure we were happy and available to help us with anything we needed.

This property is in a great location and easy walk done to the amazing river and village Fontain de Clus. We were here in April 2025 so wasn’t to crowded.This property is probably the only one out of 5 stays in 6 weeks which was true to the photos. In fact the pictures do not do it justice as it has great views which are not shown. The house is huge and the kitchen has everything you need including a pizza oven. The out door wood fired oven is a beauty and the area is weather proofed. This area is a little away from the house but has a sink toilet and crockery very well set up. A lock up garage to put your car plus a huge fenced area just below the bbq area for kids to play in, so you would be able to keep an eye on them while you cooked and had a drink Walking tracks near by and major supermarkets only 20 minutes away. There is a resident cat his name is Lilou and we very much enjoyed his visits for a pat. Our hostess Anne Marie was incredibly gracious and helpful. If this house is available book it you will not be disappointed.

    The little house is standing alone, no direct neighboroughood, only the pool side guests. There are other units in the garden, but far from the house. The air conditioning is not noisy, but effective. With car, it is convinient to look around in the sorrounding villages and tourist sites. The hosts were very friendly and ready to help in any cases, but speak English at a very limited level. Peacefull sorrundings, far away from the motorbike noises. Own little garden space. Good place for more than 3 days vacation. Not crowded pool.

    Very nice, secluded property. We enjoyed our stay very much and highly recommend this place. If you want calmness but still want to be close to some cute small villages, this is the perfect spot.
