It was beautifully appointed, situated on a working farm on the doorstep of some fantastic walking trails, including one along the river to the village of Bamford. The property was comfortable, spotlessly clean and very well stocked to enable us to settle straight away. It was finished to a very high standard, and sympathetically restored. Everything that you needed was in the cottage, really comfortable beds and high standard linen. All the equipment was very good and the aga was an added bonus. We really liked the bathrobes and slippers in the rooms and the welcome pack, which consisted of a homemade cake, bottle of wine, and treats for our dog. It really was a lovely stay and although the cottage was a little way out of the village it was close to a very good pub and all the walks were from the house so no car was needed.Guest review byLorrainneYoung couple
