Great place to stay! Very spacious, we had 7 people and never felt like we were in each others way. Bedrooms were all great and would be lovely to sit on the patio if it were sunny. 10 minutes away from the little town of Bala which had plenty of shops, pubs and food to grab. Close to other locations and sights and within walking distance of a few lovely views. Top stay!

This was our second visit to Hen Ysgubor. The hosts are very helpful and on site if there are any issues. The property is excellent for a restful get away, well furnished and comfortable. Everything you could wish for. We would definately recommend it. Extremely clean and tidy and has stunning views from both the front and back of the property. We will be returning.

Central location. Well planned accommodation, lovely spacious bathroom. Very welcoming owners who gave us the freedom to see the farm animals with them in the barn. Also, a fenced off field opposite the cottage with sheep that were about to lamb.

    Lovely cottage in quiet, pretty village about 3 miles from Bala lake. The cottage is as described, fully equipped everything you need for a comfortable stay. Check in /check out was really convenient using a key safe. There is also a few things left in cupboards and fridge for use if you wish. Would definitely stay here again.
