    Super friendly hosts, lovely location in a quiet village in the Peaks, transport links to Matlock and Bakewell. Local pub (Miners Standard) was very sweet and welcoming too!

    Lovely cottage in a small friendly village with two good pubs within walking distance and very short drive to Matlock. The location was ideal for us visiting family in the area. The cottage was spotlessly clean and comfortable with exceptionally comfortable beds and a superb shower. Would highly recommend and would definitely return. Thank you for making us so welcome.

    It was absolutely perfect, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, beautiful bedrooms and bathroom, fabulous shower, white fluffy towels, the kitchen had absolutely everything you needed to cook a family meal which we did every evening. Thoughtful gifts in- keeping with the Alice in Wonderland theme, which was a lovely touch. We had amazing views, adorable village and all the locals were lovely and friendly. Would highly recommend it

    A very cute terrace, typical of this region of England. The owners kindly supplied milk, tea and good quality coffee pods! The bath in the attic bedroom added a touch of luxury. The family bathroom was modernised and very clean. There was a great view from the Lookout (we saw it from outside but the key was available to guests).

    The holiday village and grounds were very pleasant and relaxing. First impressions the cottage was nice and well equipped. Nice quality bedding and towels. Pretty location overlooking the lake.
