Brambles is set in a stunning peaceful spot overlooking neighbouring countryside and horses. The Shepherds hut is beautifully decorated and really thoughtfully furnished/equipped with everything you could possibly need. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Check in was easy and the hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Overall, we had such a relaxing, albeit brief, stay - our only regret is that we didn't stay for longer! We very much hope to return when back on the IOW next year and highly recommend staying at Brambles 😃

Property was a great period property with amazing views over the town and Ventnor bay. At dusk bats flew around the garden and the sounds of the sea and sea birds have a really relaxing holiday feel. Beds were comfortable, all facilities we needed and plenty of space for big family group. Ample parking and close to local shops for picking up essentials. Great base for exploring the island.

Very good property. The owner came down to meet us and we had a long chat with her. A very bubbly personality. The pool was clean, covered and heated which made a big difference. The house was clean, sheets/pillows/towels, etc. everything was clean. Very big rooms. It’s such a big house that you’ll get lost sometimes, which was the case with us! 😃 there’s ample parking for at least 4 cars/SUVs, though the way into the property is a bit narrow, but we managed (two mid sized sedans and one MPV (Toyota Vellfire). We would definitely be revisiting.

The apartment was very spacious, clean and comfortable and was well thought out. It has lovely views across Shanklin to the downs and you can see the sea too. It was nice to have milk, tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits when we arrived too. I would happily recommend it as a lovely place to stay
